Dr. Merceron, a San Antonio native, combines world-class training with compassionate care. He earned dual bachelor’s degrees at the University of Texas at Austin and his medical degree at Vanderbilt University. With residencies in General Surgery and Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Emory University and a fellowship in Reconstructive Microsurgery at the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Merceron specializes in breast reconstruction, peripheral nerve surgery, and limb salvage.
