Dr. Amina Malik is the Chief of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Houston Methodist Hospital. This subspecialty of ophthalmology focuses on both cosmetic and functional problems of the eyelids, eyebrows, lacrimal system and orbit. She performs a variety of surgeries to correct drooping upper eyelids, bags under the eyes, excessive tearing and eye socket problems. In addition, she provides care for patients interested in cosmetic facial rejuvenation, including Botox and facial fillers.Dr. Malik is a graduate of the University of Akron, where she received her Bachelor of Science, Summa Cum Laude, in two years.
