Anke Ott Young, MD, PhD. is a board-certified plastic surgeon with more than 20 years of specialized experience in breast reconstruction procedures. Dr. Ott studied at the University of the Saarland in Homburg, Germany where she earned a doctorate degree magna cum laude in forensic psychiatry. Upon arriving in New York, Dr. Ott continued her education with general surgery training at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and then completed her plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at Nassau County Medical Center, and fellowship in microsurgery and cancer reconstruction at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
